By train

Padova can be accessed from the Venice-Milano and the Venice-Rome railway lines, and there are many trains on both stations (see the timetable of Trenitalia and ItaloTreno).
Note that for regional trains, it is mandatory to validate the ticket before boarding by using the (yellow or green) machines located on the platforms and throughout the station; in case of infractions, penalties are applied.
From the Padova railway station, urban links are available to the conference venue (e.g., tram line to “Guizza-Capolinea Sud” or bus line 3 to “Lion”).

From Venice airport VCE:

  • Bus“FSBUS ITALIA” company provides the connections to Padova every hour; see the timetable.
    The bus stop is located at arrival points (the last one on your right). The bus takes around 1 hour to reach Padova. The fare is 8.50 Euros. The ticket can be purchased at the ticket shop inside the airport (arrival point, on the left of the exit gate), using the vending machines close to the bus stop, or directly inside the bus (extra charges may apply).
    Buses will arrive at the Padova bus station (close to the railway station) where urban links are available to the conference venue (e.g., Tram line to “Guizza-Capolinea Sud” or bus line 3 to “Lion”).
  • Shuttle: the shuttle service will pick you up at the airport at your arrival and take you directly to the address of your choice in Padova. The reservation must be made at least 24h before your arrival, indicating the date, time and flight number. There are reduced fares for more people going to the same place.

From Treviso airport TSF:

  • Bus“MOM” company provides the connection to Padova (every 30 minutes in rush hours).
    The MOM bus stop is located directly opposite of the airport on the main road. The bus takes around 70 minutes to reach Padova. The fare is about 4 Euros, andtickets can be purchased at the bar near the bus stop or inside the bus (extra charge may apply). For late arrivals, you can take a bus to Mestre railway station (company ATVO), then board a local train to Padova.
    Buses will stop at the Padova bus station (close to the railway station) where urban links are available to the conference venue (e.g., Tram line to “Guizza-Capolinea Sud” or bus line 3 to “Lion”).
  • Shuttle: the shuttle service will pick you up at the airport on your arrival and take you directly to the address of your choice in Padova.   • Train: From Verona airport, you will connect to “Verona Porta Nuova” railway station by bus service. Then board a train from “Verona Porta Nuova” train station to Padova in about 50 minutes.
